Journal manager: Ji-Myung Kim, PhD, Editor-in-chief
Ji-Myung Kim has been a professor in the Department of Food and Nutritional Science at Shinhan University since 2007. She has voluntarily served on the board of the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN) and currently holds the position of Editor-in-Chief.
Prof. Kim earned a Ph.D. in Food and Nutritional Science from Ewha Womans University in 2005. Since 2007, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Food and Nutritional Science at Shinhan University.
Prof. Kim has contributed to various editorial committees for the Korean Society of Food Culture (KSFC), the Korean Nutrition Society (KNS), and the Korean Society of Community Nutrition (KSCN). She has been serving as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of the Korean Society of Food Culture since 2018 and as an Editorial Board Member of Nutrition Research and Practice since 2020. From 2020 to 2023, she served as the Associate Editor of KJCN and is now the Editor-in-Chief.
Her primary research interests include nutrition education, nutritional epidemiology, and journal editing.
Prof. Kim is actively involved as a board member of the KSCN, the KNS, the KSFC, the Korean Dietetic Association, and the Korean Society of Dietary Education.

Sohyun Park is a professor of Food Science and Nutrition at Hallym University, Korea. She currently serves as a review process manager for the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN).
Prof. Park earned her doctoral degree in Public Health Nutrition from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2012. Following her doctorate, she worked as a research professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine, Hanyang Medical School in Korea. Since 2016, she has been a faculty member at Hallym University.
Throughout her career, Prof. Park has been an active reviewer for various scientific journals and now holds a role of associate editor for the KJCN.
Throughout her career, Prof. Park has held several key leadership roles in nutrition societies in Korea. She has served as the Chair of Nutrition Epidemiology at the Korea Nutrition Society (KNS) and the Chair of Nutrition Policy at the Korean Society of Community Nutrition. Prof. Park remains an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the KNS, the Korean Society of Community Nutrition (KSCN), and the Korean Society for the Study of Obesity.

Sooyoun Kwon has been a professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Singu College since 2017. Prof. Kwon has been a member of the editorial board of the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN) since 2019 and has served as an associate editor since 2024.
Prof. Kwon received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Food and Nutrition from Sookmyung Women’s University and completed her Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition at Seoul National University in 2011. From 2014 to 2017, she was a professor at Honam University.
Her academic specialization focuses on institutional foodservice for children and the elderly.
Prof. Kwon has been an active member of the of the Korean Society of Food and Nutrition (KFN), the East Asian Society of Dietary Life, and the Journal of the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition (JKFN).

Mi-hyun Kim has been a professor in the Major in Food and Nutrition at Kongju National University since 2018. Prof. Kim has been a member of the editorial board of the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN) since 2021 and has served as an associate editor since 2024.
Prof. Kim received her bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Sookmyung Women’s University in 1999 and her doctorate in Food and Nutrition in 2002. She served as an assistant professor and associate professor at Kangwon National University from 2004 to 2013, and later as an associate professor and professor at Korea National University of Transportation until 2018.
Prof. Kim has been serving as an editorial board member for Journal of the Korean Society of Food and Nutrition (JKFN) and the Korean Society of Clinical Nutrition (CNR). Her recent research interests include community nutrition and nutrition education across the life span.

Yun-Jung Bae has been a professor in the Major in Food and Nutrition at Korea National University of Transportation since 2018. Prof. Bae has been a member of the editorial board of the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN) since 2018 and has served as an associate editor since 2024. Prof. Bae received her bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Sookmyung Women’s University in 2002 and her doctorate in Food and Nutrition in 2007. She was a professor at Shinhan University from 2011 to 2017 and has been a professor at Korea National University of Transportation since 2018.
Prof. Bae has contributed to various editorial committees for the Journal of the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition (JKFN), the Preventive Nutrition and Food Science (PNF), and the Journal of the Korean Dietetic Association. Her current primary interests are community nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, and journal editing.
Prof. Bae is an active councilor of the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition (KFN) and participates in several of its member societies, including the Korean Nutrition Society (KNS) and the East Asian Society of Dietary Life. She also served as the director for academic affairs and managing editor of Preventive Nutrition and Food Science (PNF) in the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition from 2019 to 2023.

SuJin Song has been a Associate Professor of Department of Food and Nutrition at Hannam University, Korea, since 2017. Prof. Song has voluntarily served on the board of the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition (KJCN) and currently holds the position of Associate Editor.
Prof. Song received B.S. in food and nutrition and Ph.D. in nutritional epidemiology from Seoul National University, Korea, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. After graduate school, she completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Michigan State University. In 2017, she joined Hannam University.
Prof. Song has contributed to various editorial committees for the CardioMetabolic Syndrome Journal, Journal of the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition, and the KJCN. She is also currently serving as a reviewer for Journal of Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome, Nutrition Research and Practice, Journal of the Korean Dietetic Association, and Korean Journal of Human Ecology.
Prof. Song has been an active member of the Korean Society of Community Nutrition and the Korean Nutrition Society and also an editorial member of several international and domestic journals.

Sangah Shin has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Chung-Ang University, Korea, since 2017. She previously served as a BK Assistant Research Professor at Seoul National University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to her academic appointments, she gained international research experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Medicine and the National Cancer Center in Japan.
Prof. Shin earned her bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from Seoul National University in 2005 and later completed her Master of Public Health in 2009 and Ph.D. in Public Health in 2013, both at Seoul National University. Her doctoral research focused on dietary patterns associated with bone health among the Korean population.
Prof. Shin has actively contributed to advancing public health and nutrition research, publishing extensively in areas such as nutritional epidemiology, cancer prevention, and the impact of dietary patterns on chronic diseases. Her work also includes developing dietary assessment tools and nutritional interventions tailored to the Korean population.
Prof. Shin is an active member of numerous academic societies. She currently serves as Chair of the Nutritional Epidemiology Committee in the Korean Nutrition Society and is a board member of the Korean Society for Clinical Nutrition. Additionally, she is an editor for the Korean Society for Environmental Health. Prof. Shin is also affiliated with other prominent societies, including the Korean Society of Epidemiology, the Korean Society for Preventive Medicine, and the Korea Genome Organization.

Prof. Lee joined the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition as an editor in 2019, a role she held until 2022. She currently serves as both the ethics editor and an associate editor for the journal. Previously, she worked with Nutrition Research and Practice as an editor from 2016 to 2019 and as editor-in-chief from 2020 to 2023.
Prof. Lee has been a faculty member in the Department of Food and Nutrition, Sungshin Women’s University since 2009. After graduating from Yonsei University with a major in Food and Nutrition in 1994, she earned an M.S. in Nutrition Education and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in 2000 and 2003, respectively.

As a dedicated employee of the Korean Society of Community Nutrition, she serves as an Administrative Assistant for both KJCN and Nutrition Research and Practice (NRP). Her expertise in administrative tasks plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the journals. Her support allows the editors to focus on the editorial process and enhances the overall efficiency of the publication.
